Commitment to Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We hate spammers just as much as you do. This page explains our online information gathering practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.
Opt-out Whenever You Like
If you decide to subscribe to our content, your email address will automatically be added to our mailing list. However, you may opt-out at any time. A link is included in each and every email we send, so you always have the option to unsubscribe from the list.
Collected Information
This section applies to all information collected or submitted on the Train Your Board website.
On some pages, you can order products, make requests, and sign up to receive free materials. On other pages, you can freely submit your comments and add to the discussion. Regardless of the information you’re submitting, it will always be kept confidential.
Information Usage
We use the information you provide about yourself specifically to process your online requests. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request.
We will never use or share your personal information in ways unrelated to the ones described above without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. We will not trade, sell, or otherwise misuse your personal information — you have our word.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are a citizen or a resident of a country in the European Union, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you the following rights:
Access to Your Personal Data
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data that is subject to processing by Train Your Board. Ordinary requests will be granted without charge to you within thirty (30) days of when you make the request. In cases of excessive, unreasonable or repeated requests, Train Your Board may charge you a reasonable fee and may require additional time to grant your request. Also, Train Your Board may use reasonable means to confirm your identity before granting any request for data so as to prevent granting fraudulent requests. To request a copy of your personal data, please contact us.
Corrections of Your Personal Data
If your personal data is erroneous or outdated, you have the right to have it corrected. To do so, please contact Train Your Board.
Removal of Your Personal Data
You have the right to be forgotten by Train Your Board. You may exercise this right by contacting us. We will comply with your request within thirty (30) days by deleting your account, along with all of your personally-identifiable data that is subject to any Train Your Board processing.
After we grant your request to be forgotten, you will not have access to any Train Your Board products or services unless you open a new Train Your Board account. Train Your Board may use reasonable means to confirm your identity before granting any request for data so as to prevent the granting of fraudulent requests.
Restricting the Processing of Your Personal Data
You can request that your data not be processed via Train Your Board partners. You can make that request by contacting us. You can also specify which third parties to restrict from processing your data. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days. Please be advised that some of our partners may be essential to Train Your Board services, so that if you block processing by them, Train Your Board’s services may be unavailable to you.
Portability of Your Personal Data
You have the right to receive a copy of your personal data that is subject to processing by Train Your Board in a portable format, or to have it transferred directly from Train Your Board to another party. Ordinary requests will be granted without charge to you within one calendar month of when you make the request. Train Your Board may use reasonable means to confirm your identity before granting any request to transfer data to you or another party so as to prevent granting fraudulent requests. To request a copy of your personal data in a portable format, or to request a direct transfer of your data, please contact us.
Data Controller and Processors Under GDPR
We, the owner(s) of Train Your Board, are the data controllers, as we are collecting and using your Personal Data. We use trusted third parties as our data processors for technical and organizational purposes (including for payments and email marketing). We use reasonable efforts to ensure our data processors are GDPR-compliant.
